Why QRUnlocked?

QR codes are useful. Creating one should not require an account, a subscription, a watermark, or a redirect through someone else’s service. QRUnlocked exists to keep the simple job simple.

Built for static QR codes

QRUnlocked creates permanent static QR codes directly in your browser. The information you enter is encoded into the QR code itself—there is no QRUnlocked redirect, subscription, or expiration. Once created, the QR code is yours and will continue to work as long as the information or destination encoded in it remains valid.

Privacy by design

The text or URL you enter into the generator is processed locally in your browser for QR-code generation. It is not sent to QRUnlocked for that purpose or stored by QRUnlocked.
